The AWLA NIGERIA FIRST ELECTION WAS CONDUCTED ON THE 28th of December, 2023.

To mark this year’s International Widows’ Day (IWD), African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) commemorated the day on the 2nd of July, 2021 with widows drawn from different backgrounds and communities in Ajiran town. This year saw a new dimension to the day’s usual celebration of giving out hand-outs to indigent widows. Read more here
