AWLA Rivers joined the rest of the world 🌎 on the 8th day of March 2025, in celebrating the 2025 International Women’s Day.
Members of AWLA Rivers ably led by her Coordinator, Gloria Anuri Ohia Amb.P MCIArb(UK), FICMC voiced out in radio houses and on the streets of Port Harcourt City over the joys and achievements of the 30 years struggle for women’s rights since the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action 1995 emphasising on “Accelerating Action.”
AWLA Rivers as part of giving back to the society and celebrating women took the team of Rivers State Contributory Health Scheme to Creek Road market and opted to pay the registration fee for five women at N15,000.00 per person.
The joy of these women knew no bounds as they thanked and prayed for AWLA Rivers.
